The Schatzkammer, Treasure Chamber. The show raises deep questions about the way we view Australia in a time of climate crisis and cultural uncertainty. Through stories of lost explorer Ludwig Leichardt, it brings the European scientific idea of  'collection' into dialogue with Gulf country Indigenous cultural mapping. The installation uses these same cultural questions to think deeply about the Mornington Peninsula as (Indigenous Boon Wurrung/ Bunurong) country.

A special episode, produced on Bunurong lands of the Kulin nation, at Merrick's House Gallery, amongst the works of Simon Normand's latest exhibition the Schatzkammer. This is Yarns About Country In A Climate Of Change - YACIACOC. An opportunity to think deeply about who we are, what we want to become, and what we want to pass on.

With special guests, Uncle Mik Edwards, Dr. Peter Phipps, Aleryk Fricker, and Simon Normand.
